...would I ever thought that I would do cloth diapers! I checked into it when William was born, but never really tried it. I bought a cheap-o dipe off of EBay and he leaked through it within the hour. But, on the suggestion of a friend I decided to try Gro Baby cloth diapers. Abby is quite the exploder when it comes to poopy diapers, and so far with these babies I haven't had one leak! Since I don't have that many yet I'm still doing a combination of cloth and disposible, especially when we go away and when John is around (he's not into the whole cloth diaper thing and I want him to take his turn when it comes to changing her!) I really like how these diapers are adjustable to fit a newborn all the way to toddlerhood.
Anyway, here is her 3 month picture, sporting her new purple cloth dipe!

COOOOOOL!! I USED CLOTH WITH ONE AND DISPOSABLE WITH THE OTHER AND WITH TODAY'S COST OF DISPOSABLE, WHEW!! SHE'S A CUTIE!! BUT THEN, I'M A BIT BIASED....=) GRAMMY "A"
She looks absolutely adorable in these! I'm so glad you like them. Hope they work out for you! This may sound crazy, but I actually kinda look forward to diaper changes with Lucy now that she's in Gro Baby dipes, too. :)
Brave mamma! Let me know what you think down the line. Reid bought diapers at Costco this past week (I think maybe his first time!) and he was disgusted with the price we paid and joked we should switch. I won't do cloth with a newborn, too many to change & launder a day, but maybe with Will who's down to 4-5/day.
She's so cute! You're brave to do the whole cloth diaper thing...I don't think I could. Are they hard to wash?
I'm interested in how you clean them? And is it a pain when you're out? Just curious- I have a 6 month old & plan on having more... I'm sick of paying for diapers. Also had a two year old in them at the same time for about 4 months! whewww our grocery bill was thru the roof just in diapers and wipes alone! ugh
seriously I'm interested though
