Shower cleaner?

Anyone know of a good shower cleaner? I know all about Kaboom and such, but I need a power cleaner...something that once sprayed on will do all the cleaning for me (or at least most of it!). Our shower needs some TLC...

Latest News...

First, the fun news...William's top right tooth has finally popped through today! I noticed it when he was doing one of his silly grins....and there it was! Yeah! He's getting to be SO big!

I really wish babies came with guide books...William has incredibly sweaty hands and feet. Anyone know what causes this or if it's hereditary? They're also really cold all the time, too (his feet, I mean, his hands aren't cold, just sweaty).

Gum grinding. Oh, I wish he hadn't figured this one out! I'm not looking forward to the day when he'll have actual teeth back there to gnaw down. Any tips or tricks to get him to stop?

Well....that's about it. :-)

John's Catch!

John went fishing this morning, bright and early. I didn't even realize where he'd gone, until I heard my cell phone ringing. It wasn't even 7am, so I didn't bother to get up to answer it. It rang another 3 times until I finally got out of bed to answer it. It was John, who said he was in the garage, locked out of the house. Apparently he had locked the door and forgot his keys. Anyway...he left to go fishing with me wishing him good luck. (I really had no hopes at all of him actually catching a fish, since he's gone numerous times and has caught zilch.) Anyway, around 10am he came back home....with 2 fish!! Yeah! Guess what we're having for dinner!?!

Problem Solver

Our son is now figuring out ways to solve his restrictive playpen - stack toys up and stand on them, and hopefully gain freedom by being able to climb out. Thats right. I put William in his playpen for, oh, the time it takes to run to the bathroom, and when I came back, he had moved his cars and other toys to the side of his playpen and was standing on them. That gave him a few more inches of height, so he was well able to see out of the playpen. He's not even close to climbing out (hopefully not!) of the pack n play, but....getting smarter in that area! I have to keep an even closer eye on him...

Angel Game

Last night the 3 of us headed down to Angel Stadium to watch our Angels take on the Atlanta Braves. Traffic was horrible, as there was accident after accident. It took us over 2 hours to get there. I even had to hop into the back seat to feed William halfway into the ride, as he just couldn't make it any longer. It's obvious William is getting older, as he's able to "enjoy" the game more, as much as a 9 month baby can. He flirted with the people behind us, jumped on my lap until I bruised, and played with his rally monkey. He was completely enthralled with the fireworks show. No more tears when they went off; no more tears when the people hooted and hollered. It was a fun night!

Wanna buy a car?

I guess we have to list on our "Things We Love" page the Honda Accord. We bought a 1994 Honda about 4 years ago with 145k miles on it, and well...let's just say it's been a good car for us! This past week it turned over 300k...hmmm....I love this car!

1st Tooth!

Yup! He's finally got his 1st tooth! I was changing him this morning and he opened his mouth, and there it was...a lower right central incisor. Yippee!! It's barely poking through, but it's through!! I'm expecting 2 on the top and another on the bottom to come through any day now...

Bubbles...Bubbles...

This morning William took his first bubble bath! I'd been holding off with the bubbles until his rash/dry skin cleared up. He really didn't know what to when I plunked him in the water...he just looked amazed and utterly confused. He soon looked up at me, stuck up his nose and smiled his gummy smile...this child keeps my life fun!

Weekend Activities

We had a busy weekend...We finally broke down and bought another ceiling fan/light for William's room!!! I had wanted one in there for a long time, but convincing John to climb into the attic to install another one was another matter. On Saturday John finally went back up there and put the light/fan in! I now can finally change diapers, etc. without turning on the bathroom light, opening the blinds, and turning on the 3 dinky lights in his room. It's wonderful! The fan has also become William's new source of entertainment, as he's fascinated with the turning fan. He'll sit in his crib with his head almost at a 90 degree angle, and then tip over backwards. Funny kid!
