Siblings
Here's the latest pic of my two kiddos, taken last night after church. I wanted a family picture, but it's been SO hot that both J and I were not in the mood to pose. Abby is definitely the little chunk, if you ask me. Both my mom and dad said that holding her is like holding me all over again - Abby's baby picture and mine are very similar! :-) William - ALL John!

Pictures
William took a nice nap, so I had a few minutes to dress Abby up and take some pictures. With William I was on the ball, getting his pictures professionally taken at every important month. With this one...not so much. She's never even seen a profession photo studio. I'm hoping when William turns two I'll be able to get both kids in for a picture update. But for now...
Here's the little princess, tired after all that photo taking!

Happy Due Date!
I know I'm a day late in posting this, but yesterday was supposed to be my scheduled repeat c-section. Now our little Abigail is well over a month old! She's doing great, aside from having her days and nights mixed up. She can keep John and me up ALL night with her grunts, groans, snorts, purrings, etc. It's cute during the day, but at night it's a different story. She's growing like a weed, and most of her newborn clothes are too small for her. She's the size of a full-term baby now!
Here's a picture that I took last night. Just hanging out with Daddy.

Grammy & Grandpa's Visit
We also enjoyed a great visit with John's parents. I think William really wore poor Grammy out, with his frequent potty visits, baths, and his refusal to eat. (A complete attention getter, if you ask me!) I joked with Carole that she has to go home to rest since vacation at our house is NOT relaxing! lol...I did appreciate the extra set of hands, though!
Playing blocks with Grandpa.
Grammy loving on Abby.
We also did a little pre-birthday celebration for William. He got a tee-ball set!! Yeah!

Latest Happenings...
I know it has been awhile, but I've been a little busy, and extremely tired to blog much.
Anyway...
My sister Aunt "Nell" flew in Saturday to spend some time with us, and William has thoroughly been enjoying all the attention she's been giving him. Of all the people I know, she has the most energy, keeping up with W just fine! Poor kid has been crashing into bed at night, completely exhausted!
Here we are, taking the kids for a walk Sunday afternoon.
My lovely sister also decided that William NEEDED a Hungry, Hungry Hippos game. Great. Just great. A loud, annoying game. At least it doesn't require any batteries!
On another note, Abby had yet another appointment at the pediatrician to check her bilirubin, and it's still not coming down. Today the reading, via a subcutaneous test, was 9.9, not a significant change from the previous times. We know, from a recent blood test, that her levels don't indicate anything seriously wrong, but we are searching as to why the levels continue to stay a little elevated, even though she's over a month old already. We've been referred to a pediatric gastroenterologist, so hopefully we'll get some answers soon. Other than that, she's a whopping 6 pounds, 12 ounces! At last Monday's check she was just 6 pounds. Gaining rather nicely. :-)

New Blankie
This cute blanket is one I purchased at Etsy.com from "Grandma's Nest". She custom made this Suzy's Zoo blanket along with another teddy bear one for me. It's 45x45, much larger than the swaddling blankets you buy in the store. At her small size, though, it's HUGE! She's getting bigger, so it will soon fit her much better. If you haven't checked out Etsy I recommend you do...I've found great treasures there!

Together Time
William held Abigail for the first time the other day. He was SO gentle, it was almost like he was a different little boy than the one I knew. He's been going through quite the adjustment lately, saying "no" to everything, and throwing tantrums at everything. He's really been testing me, and proving that he's going on two!

My Kiddos
Abby has been home from the hospital for a few days now, and we are adjusting nicely to her being here. I'm amazed at how much work two kids are, but I'm sure I'll find my groove before too much longer. My Mom left us (sniff...sniff...) this past Saturday, and her presence here has been very missed. She literally took care of everything here at home so I could spend as much time as needed at the hospital with Abigail. Thanks Mom, so much!
Here's an updated picture of me and my kiddos! I can't tell you how much I love being a Mom!!
