Here's the proof.
William always eats with us, but I really wanted to enjoy HOT food tonight, and since we only get this meal once a year, I decided to feed William early and planned our dinner for around 7:30, after he went to bed. (Whew! Long sentence. Diagram THAT!)
John surprised me with red roses and lilies when he came home, and I surprised him with the chocolate strawberries. Thankfully William left them alone so there were still some left. ;-)
The food was incredible! I think this years steak was better than lasts, hands down. John added rosemary to the red wine sauce and that added a whole new flavor punch. We were stuffed after eating, so we never did break into the apple pie...I'm thinking that will be for tonight! Yum!
How are you all celebrating Valentine's Day?
