Busy Day!

This morning I had another doctor's appointment, and it went well. Since this little gal doesn't stop moving I had no fears that anything was wrong.

I prepped William for the grand entrance of the doctor by saying he was going to check on the baby and that he needed to be quiet just like a butterfly. To which William put his finger up by his mouth and said "shhhh". (That's what butterflies "say" over here in our household!)

When the doctor came in I reminded William to be like a butterfly, and he again put his finger up to his mouth, trying really hard to keep the tears from falling. He was good until the doctor took out the blood pressure cuff, then he lost it, but only for a little while. He wasn't in full-on screams, like last time, just big alligator tears. He soon calmed down, however, when the doctor got out the thing to check the heart beat and told William the baby's heart beat was like a choo choo train. THAT he liked!

So, here are the stats since last visit:
I've gained 5 pounds (Yikes!) Better than the 9 I gained previously.
I went from 27cm to 32cm, so LOTS of baby growth.
Heart rate is 149.

After that we met up with J for lunch, something we haven't done in the past. It was fun and the food was delicious. Now that we're home William has crashed...hopefully for a long time! I need to rest too.
